TRAFFIC STOP GETS DRUGS

(CLEARVIEW TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On August 2nd, 2014 at approximately 12:30 a.m., members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police stopped a motor vehicle on County Road #42 near William Street in the Town of Stayner for a traffic violation. Upon a closer inspection of this motor vehicle an odour of Cannabis Marihuana and alcohol was detected.

A search of this motor vehicle and its 3 occupants revealed that all 3 were in possession of a quantity of Cannabis Marihuana.

Charged with “Possession of a Schedule II substance – Cannabis Marihuana” is Michael RUNYON 20 years old from Clearview Twp. First appearance for this accused is September 9th, 2014 in Collingwood court. In addition OPP charged a 17 year old male and a 15 year old male both from Clearview Twp. and who were both in the above motor vehicle with “Possession of a Schedule II substance – Cannabis Marihuana”. First appearance for these accused is September 4th, 2014 in Collingwood court.
