(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – A traffic stop conducted by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) resulted in the driver being charged with a Highway Traffic Act (HTA) offence.
On March 10, 2014 an OPP officer stopped a vehicle on Sandy Hook Road. Investigation revealed that the driver was suspended from driving. As a result of the investigation Benjamin SHIELD, 29 years of age, of Oshawa, was charged with driving while suspended.
The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on May 13, 2014.
