(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment has charged a male driver with drinking and driving offences following an investigation into a collision that occurred at Main Street near George Street in Dunnville, Haldimand County, Ontario.
On Friday October 7, 2016 at approximately 9:07 p.m., OPP, Haldimand County Fire Services and Haldimand County Paramedics responded to Main Street for a two vehicle collision.
OPP investigation has determined that a blue Saturn Ion was travelling eastbound on Main Street and struck a black GMC Sierra pickup truck that was parked and unoccupied.
The male driver of the Saturn was transported by ambulance to a local hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.
OPP has charged a 54-year-old Tracy TAYLOR of Dunnville, Ontario with impaired driving and driving over the legal limit.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charges.
