(LAKESHORE, ON) -The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Lakeshore responded to a report of a tractor trailer that flipped onto its side, on October 8, 2014 at 1:55 p.m. on Patillo Road in Lakeshore.
Officers arrived and discovered that the Volvo tractor trailer was eastbound on Essex County Road 22 when it attempted to turn southbound onto Patillo Road. The trailer load shifted causing the truck and load to end up on its side across the southbound lane.
The driver, a 33 year old Brampton man was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Patillo Road between Essex County Road 22 and Advance Boulevard was closed while police investigated. It has since re-opened.
The crash remains under investigation.
