(COLLINGWOOD, ON) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Street Crimes Unit with the assistance of front line officers from the local detachment have charged a male with break and enter as a result of an incident in Collingwood.
On the 27th of March 2015, a break and enter was committed at a business on Balsam Street in Collingwood where the suspect forcibly gained entry into the premises. Nothing was stolen in the incident however damage was caused to the door and locking mechanism. As a result of an investigation, police have now arrested the male responsible for the incident.
Charged is 40 year-old Tracey HUTCHINSON of Collingwood, he is facing charges of break and enter a place with intent to commit indictable offence and possession of break in instruments. He was held for bail court in Barrie.
