Tools Stolen From Unlocked Workshop

(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) – The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating the theft of tools from a workshop / tool shed at a rural residence along Hwy 8 east of Shakespeare.

On Friday morning May 22, 2015, the home owner discovered that about $2,500 worth of tools had been removed from his workshop. It was determined that sometime between 8:30 p.m. on Thursday May 21, 2015, and 8:30 p.m. on Friday May 22, 2015, unknown person(s) entered the building by means of the unlocked the man-door and removed the following items:

– Miller-Millermatic 140 (Mig Welder) blue in colour

– Stihl chainsaw Model MS261C (orange in colour)

– Stihl chainsaw Model MS170 (orange / white in colour)

– Milwaukee 61777-20 Chop saw (red in colour)

– Milwaukee cordless impact driver (red in colour)

– Klien tool bag containing misc. tools ballistic nylon (orange & black in colour).
