Tools Stolen From North Huron Public Works

(NORTH HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently investigating a break, enter and theft of power tools that occurred in Wingham earlier this week.

During the early morning hours of December 9, 2019 Huron OPP officers responded to the North Huron public works shed located on Josephine Street after receiving information about a possible break and enter. Officers and a key holder checked over the shop and it was soon discovered numerous power tools had been stolen.

Some of the stolen items are:

Four STIHL chainsaws,

Four STIHL cut-off saws

STIHL leaf blower & weed eater

Dewalt hammer drill

Dewalt impact drill

Dewalt grinder

Red heavy duty oil pump

Various hand tools

In total the stolen items are valued at nearly $9,500.
