Snow Squall Watch – 20cm Snow Possible

Snow squall watch in effect for:

Listowel – Milverton – Northern Perth County

Wingham – Blyth – Northern Huron County

Snow squalls are expected to redevelop today.

Flurries will continue today. Gusty winds from the west are expected this morning. Snow squalls with reduced visibility may develop as a result.

Local snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm are possible before the snow squalls taper off this evening or overnight.

Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather. Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve. Public Safety Canada encourages everyone to make an emergency plan and get an emergency kit with drinking water, food, medicine, a first-aid kit and a flashlight.
