(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Tuesday July 09, 2013, Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers received calls from a number of individuals advising that they had been the victim of thefts.
Between midnight Monday July 08 and 7 a.m. Tuesday July 09, unknown person(s) attended at an active gravel pit located along Perth Road 180 south of Staffa. The door of a utility trailer which housed equipment was forced open, and the following items were removed from inside; two black welding cables, DEWALT grinder, black INGERSOL RAND air gun, 1/2 inch SNAP-ON drive ratchet, ULTRA PRO ratchet set, ULTRA PRO screwdriver set, propane heater, heat gun, red and white welding helmet, and a tachometer tool.
A construction trailer at a gravel pit located along Perth Line 26 east of Perth Road 180 was forced open sometime between midnight Monday July 08 and 6:30 a.m. Tuesday July 09. Approximately 250 feet of black copper welding cable as well as a DEWALT 20 volt impact driver was stolen.
Between midnight Monday July 08 and 8 a.m. Tuesday July 09 someone took a DEWALT cordless air hammer drill and a DEWALT reciprocal saw from an unlocked aluminium tool box located in the back of a pickup truck. The truck had been parked on Spence Crescent in Mitchell.
Between Monday evening, July 08 and Tuesday morning, July 09, an unknown person entered the unlocked box of a pickup truck which was parked on Frances St East in Mitchell. A black carrying case, containing a DEWALT impact cordless hammer drill, two 18 volt batteries and a battery charger was removed.
