(Prince Edward County, ON)â€â€On November 06, at 9:40pm officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Prince Edward County detachment had stopped a motor vehicle on Highway 62 and County Road 3, Rossmore after receiving information that the driver was impaired. Officers observed that the driver had been consuming alcohol and was arrested.
The male driver, 31-year old Timothy Maxwell of Prince Edward County is charged with Operating While Impaired contrary to Section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada and Operation With Over 80mgs. of Alcohol, contrary to Section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was later released from police custody on a promise to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Picton on November 26, 2014.
