(COLLINGWOOD, ONTARIO) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged a male motorist with a drinking and driving related offence as a result of a RIDE check.
On the 28th of December 2013, shortly before 3:00am, officers were conducting RIDE at Pretty River Parkway and Ronell Crescent in Collingwood when they came upon a driver that was under the influence of alcohol. A roadside breath test was conducted which resulted in a ‘fail’ reading which lead to the male being arrested and transported to Collingwood detachment for processing.
Charged is 25 year-old Timothy KEHOE of Orillia, he is facing a charge of driving with more than 80 mgs. of alcohol in his blood and is to appear in Collingwood court on the 21st of January 2014.
