(THUNDER BAY, ON) Recently officers from the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were advised of the theft of 800 – 900 litres of fuel. The fuel was reported stolen from several pieces of machinery on Holland Road West.
In a separate incident on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at approximately 08:30 am, officers located a 2001 Mazda MPV van (silver) parked along the roadside of Highway 11/17, just west of Fourway School. The van was found to have the rear window smashed and a toolbox and tools were scattered on the snow outside of the vehicle.
The van was reportedly parked on Rudolph Road in Shebandowan the previous evening and was subsequently stolen from that location.
