(THUNDER BAY, ON) On Sunday, October 19, 2014 at approximately 1:50 am, an officer from the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Twin City Crossroads in the Municipality of Oliver Paipoonge.
Upon speaking with the driver, the officer detected an odour of alcohol emitting from the driver’s breath. Subsequently, the driver was found to be over the legal limit.
Mark VEURINK, 27 years of age, from Oliver Paipoonge was arrested and charged with Operate a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 mgs of Alcohol contrary to the Criminal Code.
He is to appear in Provincial Court on December 12 2014 to answer to the charge.
