Shortly before 5 pm Owen Sound Police, EMS and Fire responded to a three vehicle motor vehicle collision that occurred at the intersection of 2nd Avenue West and 11th Street West.
Three people received minor injuries with two passengers from one vehicle being transported to hospital for precautionary measures.
The driver of an eastbound vehicle stopped for a stop sign then proceeded into the intersection without checking for oncoming traffic. The eastbound vehicle was struck by a northbound vehicle then collided with a third vehicle parked in the 100 block of 11th Street West.
An 87 year old Owen Sound resident been charged under the Highway Traffic Act with Fail to yield to traffic on a through highway.
