(ESSEX ON) –
Members of Essex County OPP arrested and charged 3 people over the weekend and laid drinking and driving offences following three separate incidents.
On Friday October 2nd shortly after 9:00 pm, OPP in Essex stopped a vehicle on Sinasac Street in Essex and arrested and charged Dewan MULDER, 32 years of age from Essex with exceeding 80 milligrams of alcohol, impaired driving and resisting arrest.
On Saturday October 3rd shortly after 10:15 pm police stopped a vehicle on County Road 23 just north of Highway 3 and arrested Sophie BELLEAU, 43 years of age of Windsor and charged her with impaired driving and exceeding 80 milligrams of alcohol. She will be appearing in court in Windsor on October 13th in Windsor.
On Sunday October 5th shortly after 1:00 am, police found a vehicle sitting off the road on Highway 3 near Howard Avenue on the Herb Gray Parkway. Police arrested the driver Hangatu Mohamed ADEM , 26 of Windsor and charged her with care or control of a motor vehicle and refuse to provide a breath sample. She will be appearing in court in Windsor on October 13th in Windsor.
