(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged three people in separate Impaired Driving incidents since Friday.
On Friday, September 13 at 9:30 pm police stopped a vehicle that was driving erratically on Fourth St N in the City of Kenora. Police determined the driver had been drinking and placed her under arrest for impaired driving. She was transported to the Kenora OPP for further tests. As a result of this investigation, 29 year old Jeanette JOSEPH of Kenora has been charged with Impaired Driving. She is to appear in Kenora court on October 10 to answer to the charge.
On Sunday, September 15, 2013 just before 3:00 pm members of the Kenora OPP conducted a vehicle stop on Park Street in Kenora. Police determined the driver had been drinking and he was directed to provide a sample on the roadside device. As a result of the investigation, 67 year old Larry LARSON has been charged with Fail to Provide a Breath Sample on the Approved Screening Device. He is to appear in Kenora court on October 17 to answer to the charge.
On Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at approximately 2:00 am, police stopped a vehicle on Hennepen Lane in the City of Kenora. The driver was arrested at the scene for Impaired Driving and transported for tests. As a result of the investigation, 36 year old John WORTHINGTON of Kenora has been charged for Impaired Driving. He is to attend court in Kenora on October 17th to answer to the charge.
