(ESSEX, ON) -The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Essex responded to a call on September 9, 2014 at approximately 8:20 p.m., regarding several parties fighting on Centre Street West in the town of Harrow.
Officers arrived and spoke to the two victims who were assaulted with a bat and robbed by three other parties who then fled the scene. The two victims were taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. They were treated and released.
The three suspects were arrested and charged as follows:
Elijah PEREIRA, age 19 of Essex, was charged with Robbery with a Weapon and Assault with a Weapon.
A 16 year old female from Harrow was charged with Assault with a Weapon and Robbery with a Weapon.
A 16 year old male from Essex, was charged with Assault with a Weapon, Robbery with a Weapon and Fail to Comply with Conditions of Undertaking.
