THREATS MADE AT CASSELMAN HIGH SCHOOL

(Casselman, ON) On October 24, 2013 OPP Constables responded to threat incident at Ecole Secondaire Casselman situated on Brebeuf Street in Casselman. At that location the officer were informed by school officials that some threats were made towards students at the school. The threats were discovered on a student Facebook profile. The OPP investigated the matter and as a result two young persons were arrested, charged and released with conditions. .

Two 14 year old young males from Casselman and Fournier will have to attend L’Orignal Youth court on November 20, 2013 to answer to these charges:

CC 264.1(1) (a) Uttering Threats to cause death or bodily harm
CC 264.1(1) (b) Uttering Threats to burn destroy or damage real property

The investigation is continuing as more people might be involved.
