(TILLSONBURG, ON.) – On October 27, 2014 at approximately 11:00 p.m. Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a R.I.D.E. (reduce impaired driving everywhere) program on Broadway Street, north of North Street in Tillsonburg.
As a result of the R.I.D.E stop and investigation, police have charged 35 year old Thomas SCHOTT of Tillsonburg under the Criminal Code of Canada with the following:
Driving with More than 80 milligrams of Alcohol in Blood (Criminal Code of Canada)
Possession of a Schedule II substance – Cannabis Marihuana – under 30 grams (Controlled Drugs and Substances Act)
The male was released on a Promise to Appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on December 2, 2014.
