(Selwyn Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a snowmobile on Fife’s Bay Road Sunday morning just before 3:00am.
The rider was found to have been drinking. Thomas RESTELL (age 38) of Omemee, ON was arrested and charged with operating a motorized snow vehicle with more than 80mg in 100ml of alcohol in his blood.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough, ON February 18, 2016.
