(NORWICH TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On March 10, 2015 shortly after 5:30 p.m., the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was alerted by witnesses of a single motor vehicle in the ditch on Potters Road just east of Middletown Line in Norwich Township.
Police attended the area and located the vehicle and identified the male driver. A roadside breath demand was issued and the driver and was arrested. His driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for 7 days.
Thomas POEL, 27 years old, of Otterville, is charged with the following:
Driving with more than 80 mgs of Alcohol in Blood
Driving While Ability Impaired
Breach of Recognizance
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear.
