(RUSSELL COUNTY, ON) In the week of April 6, 2015 to April13, 2015, Russell County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to 230 occurrences. Among those occurrences OPP responded to 10 collisions, 5 thefts and 7 domestics.
As a result of those occurrences, 31 people were charged with various offences.
(Rockland, ON) On April 10, 2015 OPP Constables responded to an animal complaint report on Laviolette Street in Rockland. At that location a young boy was seen screaming for help advising that his mother was being attacked by a pit bull in their house. The young boy (also injured) asked for a neighbour to call for help. The officers attended the location and entered the house where they found a female on the ground with the dog on top of her. The officers tried to get the dog away from the female but the dog kept attacking the female. The dog was eventually put down by the officers. The female and young boy had to be transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The Health Unit was contacted and will follow up with their investigation.
Obstruct Justice
(Hammond, ON) On April 9, 2015 OPP Constables responded to domestic related incident that would have taken place on Lacroix Road in Hammond. The officer was following up on another incident when he was informed that a male was not respecting the no communication court order. A female reported that her ex-partner kept communicating with her.
It was also divulged that another family member was assaulted by the same male.
A 39 year old male, from St-Isidore will have to appear in L’Orignal court on April 22, 2015 to answer to the following charge:

CC 266 Assault

(Embrun, ON) On April 3, 2015 OPP Constables responded to domestic related incident. At that location a female reported that her partner would not let her leave the house. At one point some physical force was used on her and some property was damaged.
A 27 year old male, from Embrun will be appearing today for a video bail hearing to answer the following charges:
CC 430(4) Mischief Under $ 5,000 X2
CC 279(2) Forcible Confinement
CC 266 Assault – Spousal X3

(Casselman, ON) On April 10, 2015 OPP constable responded to a domestic related incident on St-Therese Street in Casselman. At that location a male and female were involved in an argument when the female was assaulted and some property was damaged.
A 59 year old male, from Casselman will have to appear in L’Orignal court on May 6, 2015 to answer to the following charges:
CC 430(4) Mischief – Domestic
CC 266 Assault – Spousal

(Limoges, ON) On April 11, 2015 OPP Constables responded to a domestic related incident on Boudreau Street in Limoges. At that location a female reported receiving messages on Facebook and by email from her ex-partner. She advised that there was a court order restricting the male from contacting her.
A 32 year old male, from Ottawa will be appearing in L’Orignal court today for his bail hearing to answer to the following charges:
CC 145(3) Fail to Comply with Recognizance X3
