(HAMILTON TWP, ON) – Northumberland Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received two complaints of thefts from vehicles overnight in the area of County Road 45 near the Hamilton & Alnwick-Haldimand Township border. One additional theft of a mailbox was reported in the Baltimore area.
The items reported stolen include two wallets, two cell phones and cash.
The OPP want to remind residents that an unlocked vehicle or an open window is an easy target. Protect your vehicle and contents from theft. Always roll up your windows, lock the doors and pocket the keys when you park your car. Never leave valuables in plain view and report any suspicious persons in your neighbourhood by dialing 1-888-310-1122.
