(HUNTSVILLE, ON) Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking parents and hockey coaches to remind their young athletes to leave valuables at home. Last night was a valuable lesson that change rooms to the hockey arenas must be locked at all practice and game times.
On Tuesday October 14, 2014 between 5:00pm and 6:30pm unknown culprits entered the change room in the Don Lough arena. Once inside the change room hockey bags, coat pockets were gone through. Taken was an Apple I pod, an Android phone and a pair of boys Reebok ATV19 runners, black and green in colour.
The Summit Centre is equipped with some recording video equipment which will be viewed in hopes in locating the culprits involved in the ongoing thefts.
