Thefts

On Thursday October 30 Provincial Constable Marc Bennett was dispatched to the No Frills on O’Brien Rd in Renfrew as store security had a shoplifter in custody. The investigation revealed a male entered the store was observed placing items in his pockets. He then proceeded through the cash where he paid for some merchandise, but not the items in his pockets. He was arrested by store security outside the store. Further investigation revealed the male was currently on a undertaking with conditions including keep the peace and be of good behaviour, and other stolen merchandise from The Dollar Store was located in his possession. Barry ROESLER 50, of Renfrew was charged with theft under, $5000, possession of stolen property, and breach of an undertaking. He was held in custody for a bail hearing on October 31 where he was released on a recognizance. He will appear in court in Renfrew on November 27.

An iPhone was stolen from a residence on Carss St in Arnprior. The owner was at a party and sometime during the night the phone was stolen. There are no suspects.

An envelope with petty cash, and a receptionist’s wallet was stolen from a medical office on John St N in Arnprior. The theft occurred on Thursday October 24. There are no suspects.

Two tires on rims were stolen from a residence on Ravine Dr in Renfrew on Saturday October 26 in the afternoon. The tires were old and not road worthy. There are no suspects.
