Barrie Police responded to a call for service regarding a female shoplifter at the WalMart located on Bayfield Street after 2pm this afternoon. The 34 year old local woman was caught with a variety of merchandise that she did not make any attempt to pay for prior to exiting the store. She was arrested and detained for investigating officer. The woman was released with a future court date in December 2013. Store property was returned. No one was injured in this incident.
