On Friday the 14th of March 2014, during the evening hours a male attended the Rona store situated on Mapleview Drive West. While in the store the male spoke with one of the sales staff in regards to some tools and gave the sales person one of his business cards. A short time later the male then stole a $300.00 laser level. The theft was captured on video. On Sunday the 16th of March 2014, the incident was reported to the police. The officers located the male and the stolen property. A 26 year old Barrie resident was charged with theft and released by way of an appearance notice.
