On December 10, 2013 at 12:29 pm Barrie Police officers attended a Bayfield Street grocery store regarding a shoplifter. Store security observed a 34 year old Barrie woman with her young child select eighty dollars’ worth of cosmetics and conceal the items into her shopping cart. The woman made no attempt to pay for the items before leaving the store.
Once outside the store she was arrested for theft and later turned over to the police.
The suspect now faces a January court date.
