(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Guns & Gangs unit has charged a Kingston man with firearms offenses.
On Saturday, December 7, 2013 at approximately 7:30am, patrol officers attended the 500 block of Bronson Avenue to investigate a disturbance. A short time after a man was arrested.
Michael JONES, 30 years old, of Kingston, is charged with:
Use /Handle/Store Firearm Carelessly X 3
Possess Weapon/Dangerous to Public Peace X 3
Possess Firearm other than Restricted or Prohibited Firearm without Holding a license X 3
Possess Firearm other than Restricted or Prohibited Firearm knowingly not Holding a License X 3
Occupy Motor Vehicle with Firearm X 3
Possess Loaded Regulated Firearm X 2
Possess Firearm Obtained by Crime X 3
Two loaded sawed off shotguns and a silver revolver were seized.
He is scheduled to appear in court today.
