(St-Isidore, ON) In the afternoon of August 12th police were called to the scene of a commercial break and enter at the Lady Dive Amphibus business situated on Ste-Catherine Street, in St-Isidore, Ontario.
The owner of the business noticed wires hanging from the electrical poles in the street and that the electricity was shut off. When the electrical panel was turned on, an explosion ensued.
Investigation revealed that up to $1500 of copper wires and plates were stolen from the property.
Damages to the property are evaluated at up to $8000.
The theft occurred overnight between August 10th and August 12th, 2013.
