Theft From Horse Barn

(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Sunday afternoon January 13, 2013, the Perth County OPP were called to attend at a rural address along Line 34 (Hwy. 8) between Sebringville and Mitchell to investigate the theft of saddles and tack.

Investigation revealed that sometime between Thursday evening January 10th and Sunday afternoon January 13th, unknown persons entered onto the rural property which consists of a residence and a barn. The barn was entered and la number of saddles, bridles, blankets and other equine related equipment were taken. A horse trailer parked on the property was entered and additional saddles removed from inside.

Items stolen;

HR barrel racing saddle, 15” seat.
ORA JR Championship barrel racing saddle (red), 14” seat with blue stones.
GRIFFITH barrel racing saddle. 16” seat.
DODGE RODEO Champion saddle, 16” seat
WRANGLER (snowflake) breast collar and bridle to match the HR saddle.
Assorted bridles, tie downs, leads, rain sheets, blankets, coolers & saddle pads.

The estimated value of the stolen property is approximately $4.500.00
