On September 14, 2013 (Daytime) Barrie Police sent out a new release regarding a theft at a Cundles Road East grocery store. Three suspects stole $272.00 worth of merchandise; two were arrested at the scene the third was last seen running down Cundles Road.
Police received information from the public that the suspect goes by the name of “J†and normally hangs out in the area of Anne and Dunlop Street.
On September 22, 2013 at 11:35am, police attended the area of Anne and Dunlop Street regarding a domestic dispute. Police attended and identified the involved parties. Investigation revealed the suspect involved in the domestic was the same male involved in the theft on September 14, 2013.
The 41 year old Barrie resident was subsequently arrested for theft and transported to the Barrie Police Service and held for a bail hearing.
