Theft From Business

(Town of New Tecumseth, ON)- On Friday the 27th of March 2015 at 9:40 a.m. the Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a theft from a store in the Town of New Tecumseth (Alliston) which occurred sometime overnight.

When police attended they learned that a suspect had placed merchandise in an outside seasonal area of the store sometime on the 26th of March 2015. The suspect then appeared to have re-attended when the store was closed overnight and cut the fence to steal the merchandise.

Several electronic merchandise and two bicycles were stolen. The total loss has not been determined as of yet.

Officers have seized video surveillance, and items to be processed forensically. The Nottawasaga O.P.P. Street Crime Unit are engaged, and are continuing to investigate.
