(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On Sunday, August 9, 2015 at approximately 8:47 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a vehicle being driven aggressively southbound on Grey Rd. 18 near Grey Rd.5 in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.
The officer stopped the vehicle, a 2012 Audi PP4, and found that the driver had been drinking alcohol. A road side breath test was administered and the driver registered a “fail”. He was arrested for impaired driving and taken to the Chatsworth OPP Detachment for further breath tests, which he failed.
25-year old Thanushan BALASUNDARAM of Scarborough, Ontario was charged with driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in his system.
He is scheduled to appear in Court in Owen Sound on Thursday, August 27, 2015
