(LEAMINGTON, ON) –The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Leamington responded to a call of suspicious persons on April 28, 2015 at approximately 6:15 a.m.
Officers responded to the area of Danforth Avenue between Oak Street East and Alderton Avenue where they located a female who had entered a vehicle without authorization. A short distance from there, a male was located and had stolen property from another vehicle on Danforth Avenue.
Both male and female were arrested at the scene and charged.
A 19 year old man from Leamington was charged with Mischief Under $5000, Possession of Break In Instruments, Theft Under $5000 and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000.
A 15 year old female from Leamington was charged with Mischief Under $5000. Both parties will appear in a Leamington court at a later date to answer to the charges.
