Teens Busted With Liquor

(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On Thursday, August 13, 2015 at approximately 5:45 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a possible impaired driver operating a 1995 Mercedes E32 vehicle northbound on Hwy. 10, north of Flesherton, in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.

Police stopped the suspect vehicle and found the 20 year old male driver to be sober, however three passengers, all minors, were found to be in possession of liquor.

Two females, ages 16 and 17, were both issued Provincial Offence Notice for being a person under 19 having liquor contrary to the Liquor Licence Act (LLA). An 18 year old male was issued a Provincial Offence Notice for having liquor in an open container in other than licenced premises, residence or private place contrary to the Liquor Licence Act (LLA). The liquor was seized.

All the individuals were from the Peel Region area.
