The Owen Sound Police Service concluded its investigation into a single vehicle roll over collision that occurred on the 17th of April. It was determined that the 17 year old driver was not travelling at a high rate of speed. The collision is attributed to the fact that the gravel road was freshly graded resulting in the vehicle losing traction on the road surface and sliding off the road, striking some trees and flipping onto its side. The driver was deemed to not be driving in a careless manner and therefore the driver will not be facing any charges. Both the driver and passenger were treated at hospital for minor injuries and released.
