(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) On June 6th 2013, at approximately 8:58pm, officers from the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a residence in the Town of Erin. A taxi cab driver had taken his customer to a residence, and he refused to pay the fare. The taxi driver saw a knife pulled out and then received a punch to the head. OPP officers arrived on the scene and located the male involved.
James MIKULIN age 29 of Erin is charged with Assault, Assault with a Weapon, Transportation Fraud and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on July 5, 2013 to answer to the charges.
