(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On March 10, 2015 at approximately 7:26 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a shoplifting incident that had just occurred at the Walmart store located in Fergus, Centre Wellington Township.
Investigation revealed that a female left the store without paying for the items placed in her shopping cart. The Loss Prevention Officer contacted police and she was arrested near the store.
Tanya WARD age 25 of Fergus is charged with Theft Under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on April 24, 2015.
