(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On Monday, July 14, 2014 at approximately 8:44 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a vehicle taken without the owner’s consent in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.
Police stopped the vehicle, a Honda Civic, on Grey Rd. 30 in the Municipality of Grey Highlands..
The 16 year old Grey Highlands youth was arrested and was charged with taking a motor vehicle without consent and mischief under $5,000 under the Criminal Code. He was also charged with driving a motor vehicle without a licence under the Highway Traffic Act.
He was held for a bail hearing scheduled for Friday, July 18, 2014.
