(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – On Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at approximately 9:53 p.m., the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment responded after receiving reports of a suspicious red GMC pick-up truck parked at an Adams Street, Courtland, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
The vehicle was subsequently located by police travelling westbound on Highway 3 where officers attempted to stop it. The suspect vehicle sped away failing to stop for police. The vehicle left the roadway coming to a stop in a farmer’s field.
The driver fled from the vehicle and ran into a nearby wooded area. The male is being described as a white male, 6 feet tall, wearing a blue shirt and dark pants.
The OPP is continuing to investigate this incident and is seeking the public’s assistance. If anyone has any information, they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
