(Napanee, ON)- On February 2, 2016 at 8:45 p.m. an officer with the Napanee detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police stopped a transport for speeding on Highway 401 west of Napanee.
As a result of the traffic stop the 44 year-old driver from Brighton faces charges of driving under suspension, speeding, failing to maintain daily log, failing to surrender CVOR and driving a commercial motor vehicle without the required inspection.
The transport, excluding the trailer, was impounded for seven days as a result of the man driving while his licence was under suspension.
He was issued summonses to appear in Provincial Court in Napanee on March 17, 2016.
