(Madoc, ON) – On January 25, 2014 at 10:19 a.m. Central Hastings O.P.P responded to a two vehicle collision on Crookston Road near Douglas Road in the Municipality of Centre Hastings. Initial information reported to police indicated that one of the drivers involved suddenly left the scene. The investigation revealed that he was driving while his licence was under suspension.
As a result the 33 year old male driver of Ivanhoe, ON was charged with Drive While Suspended and Start from Stopped Position Not in Safety contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. No injuries were reported.
