(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On September 16, 2015 at approximately 11:40 a.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to a motor vehicle collision involving a 2010 Ford sport utility vehicle (SUV) that was struck by a west bound Canadian Pacific train on Concession 7, south of Concession 1, Puslinch Township. Officers responded along with Puslinch Fire and Rescue Services, and Guelph-Wellington Emergency Medical Services.
The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle, was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
41-year-old Teresa ROBINSON of Gravenhurst has been charged with Drive Motor Vehicle While Under Suspension and Disobey Railway Crossing contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Provincial Court on October 28, 2015 to answer to her charges.
