(ARTHUR, ON) – On March 11, 2014 shortly after 11:00 a.m. officers from the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a break and enter and theft that occurred at the Youth Options School located on Georgina Street in Arthur.
Investigation revealed that sometime between 12:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. on March 11, 2014 the school was entered and a laptop was taken. The suspect broke a rear window on the south side of the school and entry was gained. Once inside the school the suspect retrieved a laptop prior to exiting.
Officers gathered evidence from the scene and conducted further investigation which led to the arrest of an 18 year old male.
Andrew GOODERHAM age 18 of Arthur has been charged with Break and Enter – Commit Indictable Offence and Fail to Comply with Recognizance contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Bail court to answer to the charges.
