(KENORA, ON) On Saturday, August 15, 2015 at approximately 12:00 pm, members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of an unconscious male at Anicinabe Park. The male was swimming in Lake of the Woods and was under the water for an unknown period of time.
The male was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The deceased is identified as Nishan CHAMLAGAI, age 17 from Winnipeg, Manitoba.
A post mortem will be performed on Monday August 17, 2015. Foul play is not suspected.
