(GREENSTONE, ON)- On July 13, 2016 at 1:03 am Greenstone OPP received a report of an overturned vehicle in the Black Water River in Beardmore, Ontario.
Greenstone OPP responded with members of Greenstone Fire Department and Superior North Emergency Medical Services to find that a single motor vehicle, a silver Nissan sports utility vehicle, had gone off the road on Garnet Drive and entered into the river where it had overturned and submerged.
The female driver, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deceased is Judy Manning, 57 years old, of Beardmore, Ontario.
Sergeant David Bell of Thunder Bay OPP Highway Safety Division (HSD) attended the scene with OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) and Forensic Identification Services Unit (FISU) to assist with the investigation. The investigation is ongoing.
