On December 7, 2013 between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., members of the Guelph-Wellington Emergency Medical Services, Guelph Police Service and Guelph Fire Department will team up with Zehrs and volunteers from the Guelph Food Bank to collect food donations at the Zehrs Store on Paisley Road and the Zehrs Store on Kortright Road. We are prepared to fill our emergency vehicles with food donations for the Guelph Food Bank.
Last year we collected at the Paisley location and through the tremendous generosity of our citizens we received the equivalent of over 8,800 lbs in food and cash donations. This year we are pleased to collect at two stores and hope to build on last year’s success.
Please come out to the Imperial Road Zehrs Store or Kortright Road Zehrs to support Guelph emergency services and the Guelph Food Bank in our effort to provide food security to those facing economic hardships.
