(ORILLIA, ON) On Monday September 16, 2013, the Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report from the principal of a local Orillia High School.
The complaint involved a youth being in possession of a stun gun, also known as a Conducted Energy Weapon, which was located in the youth’s locker.
Police have charged a 14 year old male youth with Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.
Due to the age of the youth, further information including his name and court details cannot be released.
There is an ongoing investigation into how and when the youth came into possession of the weapon.
