(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) -On November 15, 2014 at approximately 1:48 a.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was patrolling Highway 6 near Woodlawn Road, Guelph and observed a male driving a 2010 Dodge van southbound at a high rate of speed. It was locked on radar travelling at 111 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.
His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.
Stuart FERGUSON age 25 of Toronto is charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is to appear in Guelph Court on January 7, 2015 to answer to the charge.
